Winter Art Market

ASB-Showgrounds

We are very excited to present another wonderful exhibition opportunity for NZSAG members.

The Winter Art Market is being held in conjunction with New Zealand’s largest national food and wine event – the ‘NZ Food Show’ – from July 29 to August 2, 2015.

The Market is located at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland and we are expecting the same large public exposure to our glass exhibition as with the Easter Show. We therefore encourage all members to plan and enter your work for this event as soon as possible.

For entry information, the detailed application form is attached.

The NZSAG Committee is looking forward to showcasing your fantastic glass artwork at this huge event.

Easter Show 2015

It’s time to start planning for the 2015 Easter Show, which is New Zealand’s largest art competition.
Over 135,000 people attended this year’s event, providing a wonderful opportunity for our members to showcase their work.

If you would like to be involved, there are two main categories: Decorative & Sculptural; plus Wearable Glass. The entry forms must be received by February 28, 2015, and there is no restriction on the number of pieces you can enter.

For more information, please click here for the Easter Show schedule (pdf).

Easter Show Glass Exhibition 2014

Congratulations to our winners and all the artists who put their work into the Easter Show.  The Judges commented on the high calibre of the entries and we had all five glass working techniques covered – casting, blowing, fusing and slumping, flamework and lead lighting. The pictures below were taken at the exhibition showing the six winning pieces followed by the members who gained merit awards.  Check out our Facebook page to see more.
