Awards – Commisions
Di creates quality Cast Glass Artworks for Awards to suit many events. Such awards are tailor-made to suit your business or occasion. These are original artworks and can be one-off designs or repeat works such as the University of Waikato Alumni Awards that Di Tocker produces each year. ‘Pinnacle’ has been awarded to 3-4 Distinguished Alumni in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. This unique and substantial award stands 300mm tall and weighs 2.6kg, engraved with gold lettering it comes with its own presentation box.
Glass Courses – Workshops
Di has 12 years full-time tutoring experience, creating and facilitating courses for glass enthusiasts. Di has previously taught in Melbourne, Australia and Hamilton and Palmerston North, New Zealand. Di loves to share her passion for glass and now offers 3 day Glass Casting Workshops from her purpose built studio in Ohaupo, Waikato, NZ.
During this 3 day workshop you will learn the art of lost wax casting, mold making process, kiln loading and firing and glass finishing techniques to lead crystal glass.
